Audition details for The Railway Children
The auditions will be held in Wells on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April between 10am and 4pm. If you are interested in auditioning, email email@example.com to register. In that email please include your name, age and the character you'd like to audition for.
Once we have received your email we will respond with the location and a time.
N.B if there are any times that you absolutely cannot make on those days, do let us know and we will try to accommodate as best we can.
Also, we are very aware that these dates are during the school holidays, if you are away over those dates but want to audition, please let us know and we will try to see you on another day that suits.
Below are character breakdowns and the scenes we would like to hear on the audition day. Please print off the scene for your character. You don't have to learn it off by heart but do go through it as much as you can so we can really see your ability on the day. (You are very welcome to audition for more than one part.)
All of the children will need to sing so bring a piece of music of your choice. There is a piano and an accompanist.
For any other questions email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Rehearsals will be weekly through May and June with the professional cast joining us for three days of solid rehearsal 10th, 11th and 12th of July. Licences will be arranged.

3 women and a piano bring you an evening of beautiful harmonies and humour. Think Fascinating Aida meets The Andrews Sisters on topics relevant to women all over the world.
Join us to decide what we should take with us to the Isle Of Woman, and join us in creating a new colony of women where high heels could be a thing of the past while servants wait on you hand and foot! All seen through the eyes of 3 very different women and accompanied on the piano by yet another extraordinarily talented lady, they will have you laughing one moment and crying the next.
The show is a mix of raucous, sharp, and witty comedy anthems, heartfelt songs, and honest chat, expressing what life is like for women of a certain age. It is a feel-good, uplifting evening that will leave the audience smiling from ear to ear. All songs are originally by written and performed by numerous female writers.
